A hugely unscientific test of the GH4, the Sony TX650 and my own iPhone7+. During a wedding i record an acoustic duo who allowed me to film them singing, so i attached the Sony mic onto the lead singer and put an iPhone about 7 foot away, opposite the amplifier the duo were using. Like anything its about being in the right place at the right time.
